Capcom is a company generally identified as a game developer primarily for consoles, although in recent years it has increased its footprint on the PC. But it seems that it is time to change. As reported by the Japanese site Gamebiz , no less than 15.6% of Capcom’s total sales from January to March this year came from Steam.
This is actually more than what Capcom sold via Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) on the Playstation Store. Including physical copies in addition to Switch and Xbox counted, the console is still a very broad landscape, but Steam is growing a lot for Capcom and with physical sales in sharp decline – it’s easy to understand why they put so much effort into the PC market.
