Some interesting details about the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Warzone have been disclosed thanks to a YouTuber who acquired gameplay during a recent hands-on event (even if the gameplay has been removed).
Other users have also seen advertisements appear on the internet, another indication that the launch of this battle royale mode would soon land in the Call of Duty universe.
In the past few hours, important information shared in a thread on Reddit was also deleted , in which he talked about cross-play, support for Solo, Duo and Trio, a couple of modes (the standard Warzone game type and a Plunder mode) and up to 150 players per game (with the idea of extending this number in the future).
Apparently, Warzone is a free-to-play standalone game created by Infinity Ward and Raven Software, with a map built on locations from the Call of Duty series (there is a list on Reddit’s post).
The game is expected to come out without too much fanfare, just like Apex Legends last year, so expect the launch soon.
