A few weeks ago, we found out that Russell Crowe would be joining the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder alongside Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and even Matt Damon, and now we know what role he will play in the Marvel Cinematic movie.
As reported by Comicbook.com , Crowe has stated that he will play Zeus in the film directed by Taika Waititi. Crowe announced the role during an interview on JOY Breakfast with the Murphys, where he said, “I’m riding my bike. I’m going to Disney Fox Studios, and around 9:15 am I’ll be Zeus!”
Crowe’s part in the film marks just one of the many great casting additions that will make an appearance in the film. Portman returns as Jane Foster and Matt Damon will make another cameo as Loki, but Chris Pratt and Karen Gillan, Star Lord and Nebula from the Guardians of the Galaxy should also be in attendance, as well as Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on May 6, 2022 and is currently still in the shooting phase.
